For people getting the "Error Code 2" or "Heroes has stopped working" these are the fixes I tried and worked for me, maybe they'll work for you as well.

1) (uninstall the game if its already installed)
2) Install Game - When its done installing it should run the ubisoft launcher (mine did)
3) Let it patch and finish patching until you're at the Ubisoft login screen - then close that window
4) Go to c->users->yourusername->appdata->local->ubisoft game launcher->delete the settings file - then close that window (If you don't see a "settings.xml" file then go back to step 3)
5) Copy orbit folder+fixed exe+skidrow.dll+ubiorbitapi_r2.dll+ubiorbitapi_r2_loader.dll into where ever you installed Heroes 6 (if you did it right, windows explorer will tell you that 2 files will be over written - say copy+replace
6) Right click your Might&Magic 6 application -> create shortcut -> drag shortcut to desktop
7) Right click shortcut -> Properties -> make your Target line say "(your drive letter):\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Might & Magic Heroes VI\Might & Magic Heroes VI.exe" /offline"
8) Run game
